Raise your hand if you like comfy days? Raise your hand if you would prefer that every day was a comfy day? If you raised your hand at all, congrats, you were made to be my friend. While I love getting all dolled up, I also enjoy it when the "dolled up" look can include something comfortable. This has only become more emphasized since I became a mom, too. I am constantly getting on the floor, bending over...you get the idea. Clothing needs to look good and be functional.
Lately, my go-to outfit for the colder months has been a bold pair of skinnies and a slouchy top (sometimes sweater like shown below). Why are these great? Well, that bold pair of pants still makes me feel interesting, while the slouchy top is super comfortable and if it loose enough I can nurse under it with no cover needed. Now how is that for functional!
However, one thing not to forget is a pair of earrings. Seems like a harmless accessory, but just like every room needs a pair of curtains, I think that every outfit deserves a pair of earrings. Earrings to me say, "She thought about that outfit before putting it on," especially because being a mom does not mean you can't look fabulous, too. Agreed? Agreed.
