Asa and I had another day off together today :). Sometimes days off consist of me putting Asa in one of my wraps and mom wearing him while she gets a TON done. Today, was not one of those days. We slept in until about ten and then went downstairs so that I could turn on my iPhone for the first time (epic), feed the dogs, and open the curtains. Next, Asa decided that he wanted to eat for five minutes, then sleep for thirty, then eat for five minutes, and sleep for thirty. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat.
Around 1pm, I decided that I better make my mark on the world before its too late and finally got dressed. I mean, I had things to do. Argh. Wouldn't it be nice if we could just snuggle with babies on the couch all day, everyday? Once I got dressed and got Asa around, we headed to the gas station. Now, I am going to let you in on a little secret. My husband really spoils me. I rarely pump gas. This is also easier because we are a one car family, so basically I just use up all the gas and then mention it to him when he goes out on an errand. It's great (don't judge too much, I do other things). While I was pumping gas I ended up paying too much attention to Asa and not enough to the pump. It overflowed a bit. Oops! I went inside to tell the cashier and luckily he said it wasn't too bad. Once I got back in the car I gave Josh a call at work because I was afraid that if I turned the car on it would blow up. Josh said it wouldn't.
After that I had to take our spare tire over to a tire shop to be put back on the rim and then back under the car, and guess what? They did it for free! No one ever does anything for free. How great, right?
My last errand of the day was to get a case for my iPhone and boy did I ever! It is a nice shade of vibrant orange and has a sweet mustache on it! We also met up with Asa's godmother, Hannah, at the mall and we scored some great deals. If you have some free time tomorrow, head over to Forever21, Express, and Baby Gap because I got some great deals. A pair of shoes for Josh, a faux fur scarf for me, and a cardigan for $18 at Forever21. Two pair of sweet pants and a hat for Asa at Baby Gap for $20. Not too shabby if I say so myself!
Luckily, the day isn't over. Josh and I are going to stay in tonight and spend some quality family time together :). It's going to be great. I hope you have a great weekend doing whatever it is that you do!
